The Customize Installation window allows you to select the files that you want to install and choose their destination folder. Use this customization when you need more control than offered with the main installation dialog's easy installation options.
Install These Items section:
* TSReport - The central application of Timeslips. Required if you need reporting, billing, file maintenance or transaction entry. If you have TAL, it will be installed with TSReport.
* TSTimer - Application for data entry of time and expense.
* TSImport - Application to import data from other programs. Often used to gather time and expense data that you collect around the office before billing. Installs with premade import templates and the online manual to TSImport. Files are placed into the TSImport folder.
* Utilities - Several small applications which includes:
Timeslips PC to Mac - assists in moving data files created on PC versions of Timeslips.
TS Recover Backup - converts existing backup data sets to fully usable data when the original data set is destroyed.
Timeslips Apple Events - documentation of developing software that interacts with Timeslips through AppleEvents.
These files are placed into the Misc. Folder.
* TSReport Help File - Copies the Help file associated with TSReport into the destination folder. This file is separated from TSReport so you can limit the installation size.
* Tutorial Data Set - A Timeslips data set for use with the Tutorial in the manual. Files are placed into the "Tutorial Folder" within the destination folder.
* Standard labels - Several files containing label formats. These files are placed into the Misc. Folder.
Install Into This Folder section:
The current destination disk and folder are shown. Click on Change to enter a new name and set a new destination for the folder. Note that when the familiar Save dialog appears, it may not be showing the current destination.
DO NOT install onto the desktop.
Install Code For section:
If you are installing Timeslips on a Power Mac, you have the option of installing code designed specifically for the Power Mac, or code for any 680X0 Macintosh. It is recommended that you use the default option, Power Macintosh. If you are not installing Timeslips on a Power Mac, this option is unavailable.
When you have made your selections, click on Install.
